Upcoming Events Ronnie Ford Training Center

With warmer weather on it’s way, things are really starting to "pop" around Ronnie Ford Training Center. Here are some recent and future happenings:

J&J Tack Shack has invited Ronnie to do a clinic in Lakeland, Florida at Shalamar Creek Stables. It’s early in the planning stages but check back here for updates. It will be held within the next couple of months. Click on the Photos below for their websites.

We have also been invited by the Orlando Science Center for the annually held "DNA Day". This is an educational event that will teach about how genes and traits are passed on by every living thing and affect everything we do. They have asked Ronnie to exhibit some of our animals, namely donkeys and/or mules. The event is set for Saturday, May 7th 10-4:30. Click on the above photo for more Info on the Science Center.

Gloria Moye, owner/operator of Fox Lake Farms in Mims, FL hosts therapeutic riding sessions for challenged individuals and physical therapy called Hippotherapy which is the use of horses in physical therapy for adults and children. She, along with her son, Doug Moye are very dedicated to this important work. She invited us to do a clinic last month for the benefit of her volunteers who handle the horses. It was VERY well received. As a result, Gloria has secured the services of Ronnie Ford Training Center in directing clinics held on a monthly basis! Horsemanship Obstacle Challenge

Want to up your riding level?

Want to instill confidence in your horse?

Learn to become the leader that your horse needs on the trail or at the show.

The Horsemanship Obstacle Challenge was held on Sunday, October 10th, 2010. It is just a taste of a series of four clinics covering everything from trailer loading to extreme obstacles. All clinics and classes begin promptly at 9 a.m. and run all day.

Class size is limited to ensure that all participants get the one-on-one attention they deserve, so be sure to sign up early.

Clinic Fees are usually around $75.
